Welcome to my new photo-travel-blog! I’ve created this site as a catalogue of the various email correspondences I’ve written since shipping off to Chile in July 2006. From its humble beginnings as an effort to keep in touch with family and friends, this project has grown into an ongoing exercise in creative writing, self-reflection, and assessment of my personal development. It has indeed grown bigger than its author, having redefined the way I seek out, approach, and relate new experiences. I find the act of writing extremely edifying, but only to the extent that I can share my words with others. Without the continuous support of dozens of readers, I may well have stopped writing after my first few months overseas.
